About ATMA

ATMA is a national-level exam conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) for admission to MBA, PGDM, MCA and PGDBA courses. The exam is conducted four times a year. More than 500 management institutes across India accept ATMA scores for admission to their management programmes. The test aims to assess the aptitude of candidates which is necessary for higher management studies.

Application Process

ATMA registration process includes two steps – fee payment and filling the registration form. The steps are explained below in detail. 

Documents required for ATMA registration

  • Scanned or digital copy photograph and signature (Maximum size: 512 KB)
  • Scanned copy of latest OBC (Non-creamy) / SC / ST / DAP category certificate as applicable (Maximum size: 1 MB)
  • Scanned copy of marksheets of Class 10, Class 12 and Graduation (Maximum size: 1 MB)
  • Sponsored applicants are required to upload sponsoring certificate as per the format available on ATMA website
  • Credit/ Debit card details to pay the fees online

STEP 1: Fee payment

The first step of ATMA registration is the payment of fee in online mode. Here’s how to pay ATMA registration fee:

  • Visit the official website
  • Click on the link ‘Click here to register for ATMA exam’ on the official website or copy https://www.atmaaims.com/onlinefeepay.aspx
  • Candidates will be redirected to the fee payment page 
  • Candidates need to enter their personal details including email ID and mobile number
  • Click on the ‘Proceed to Fees Payment’ button
  • Enter debit/credit card details and make payment
  • On successful payment of the fee, a Personal Identification Number (PID) will be sent to candidates’ registered email address and mobile number through SMS
  • The PID will work as a login ID for ATMA

ATMA registration fee

ATMA registration fee is Rs 1298 ( inclusive of GST @ 18%) for all candidates. However, women candidates and candidates from the North-Eastern states of India are eligible to avail a fee concession. Look at the table below to know the fee concessions provided to the candidates.

STEP 2: ATMA Registration

  • After successful fee payment, candidates should proceed to fill ATMA registration form
  • In ATMA registration form, candidates need to fill details such as PID, name of the candidate, postal address, email ID, date of birth, mobile number, preferred test city, educational qualification, the exact percentage secured in SSC, HSC and Graduation, choice of institutes for reporting ATMA score
  • Upload all the documents required, including passport size photo and digital signature
  • Once the ATMA registration process is complete, candidates will be given their login password. The password will also be sent to candidates’ registered email ID.
  • Take a printout of ATMA registration form

Specifications for uploading the scanned images of photograph and signature are given below. 

 Signature Image:

  • Sign on white paper with black ink pen and scan it
  • Dimensions of the scanned signature should be 140 x 60 pixels (preferred)
  • Size of file should be between 20 KB – 50 KB
  • Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50 KB

Selection Process

The participating institutes will begin the ATMA 2021 selection procedure soon. Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) declare the result of ATMA 2021 on April 30 in online mode. On the basis of ATMA results the participating institutes will shortlist the candidates for the ATMA selection procedure 2021. Candidates who will be shortlisted on the basis of their score will have to appear for the selection procedure of ATMA 2021. Eligibility Criteria

ATMA eligibility criteria provides details regarding age and educational qualification which candidates need to fulfill in order to be eligible for the exam. According to ATMA eligibility criteria, candidates should be Graduate from a recognised university. Candidates who are in their final year of graduation can also apply for the exam. ATMA registrations have begun on March 4, 2021. ATMA exam is conducted four to five times a year. The exam for the April session will be conducted on April 25, 2021. Before, filling the application form, candidates should check ATMA eligibility criteria to ensure whether they are eligible for the exam or not. Candidates’ eligibility will be verified at the time of admission, if anyone is found to be ineligible then they will not be offered admission

Exam Syllabus and Pattern

ATMA Exam Syllabus is divided into six different sections and sub sections with varying types of topics on which questions are placed in each exam.
