About MAH HM CET

Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra conducts MAH HM CET in order to provide admission to candidates in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (HMCT) programmes offered at bachelor’s and master’s levels. MAH HM CET is the means through which admission is offered to candidates in all colleges/ universities offering BHMCT and MHMCT programmes which are approved and recognised by the Government of Maharashtra and affiliated to any of the non-agricultural university in Maharashtra State.

Application Process

MAH HM CET 2021 application form will be released in online mode in the second week of April. Candidates who belong to general category will have to pay Rs. 800 as an application fee while those who belong to the reserved category have to pay Rs. 600. The payment of the fees is to be done through an online system only via debit card, credit card, cash cards or mobile wallets.

What are the steps to Fill MAH HM CET 2021 Application Form

Step 1 – Go to the official website to register ( http://cetcell.mahacet.org/ )

Step 2 – Click on ‘New Registration’ tab

Step 3 – Provisional registration number and password will be generated

Step 4 – Re-login by using the details sent in the mail and password

Step 5 – Fill complete MAH HM CET application form 2021

Step 6 – Validate the details in the MAH HM CET 2021 application form and after that click on ‘Save and Next’ button

Step 7 – Upload the scanned image of the photograph and signature

Step 8 – Preview the MAH HM CET application form 2021

Step 9 – Click on ‘Final Submit’ button

Step 10 – Pay the application fee

Step 11- Download the application form and take a printout of the same

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of MAH HM CET 2021 mentions the educational qualification, percentage of marks that candidates should score in the qualifying exam to be eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

Note- Candidates appearing for the qualifying exam are also eligible to appear for MAH HMCT CET exam

MAH HM CET Eligibility Criteria 2021 – Calculation of Aggregate Marks in Qualifying Exam
  • Aggregate marks are the grand total of marks obtained by the candidate in subjects on which the class declaration is made in the particular board from which the candidate is passing the qualifying examination.

  • The percentage of marks will be determined by rounding off to two places after the decimal.

  • Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste, Other Backwards Class, SBC, VJ/DT (NT (A)), NT (B), NT(C), NT (D) will have to provide “Caste Validity Certificate” which is issued by Social Welfare Department

  • Candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe category will have to provide a certificate issued by Scrutiny Committee of Tribal Department and valid Non Creamy Layer certificate except SC, ST candidates at the time of verification of documents.
