1] CAT (Common Admission Test):-
CAT is considered as the mother of the MBA entrance exam which is conducted by 1 of the 20 IIMs on a rolling basis.
The score of CAT is not just accepted by IIMs, but also by other top 10 non-IIMs such as FMS(Delhi), MDI(Gurgaon), IMI (Delhi), IITs (pan India), etc.
2] XAT (Xavier’s Admission Test): –
Conducted by XLRI, XAT is one of the oldest management exams.
More than 70 odd B-schools accept the XAT’s score.
3] MAT (Management Aptitude Test): –
Conducted by AIMA, this is a more popular entrance exam which candidates can take 4 times in a year.
The score of MAT is accepted by several B-schools & associated universities.
4] SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test): –
This aptitude test is conducted for admissions to all post-graduate management programs offered by symbiosis.
Registration will be from Aug to Nov.
Symbiosis international university is one well-recognized B-school in India.
5] IBSAT (ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test): –
Conducted by ICFAI to get admission in IBS Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Dehradun, Gurgaon, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune.
6] GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test): –
It is required for admission to a graduate business program globally.
Conducted by GMAC.
Around 1600 B-schools accept the GMAT score.
7] NMAT (Narsee Monjee Management Aptitude Test): –
NMAT is for securing admission for NMIMS.
Conducted by GMAC.
It is Mumbai based university, which offers many management courses with different specializations.
8] CMAT (Common Management Admission test): –
Conducted by a National testing agency for admission to postgraduate management programs, many schools accept the score of CMAT.
The 1st exam was conducted in 2012.
Score accepted by more than 1000 MBA institutes across the country.
9] IIFT (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade): –
Conducted by NTA to take admission in Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Score is valid only for IIFT.
It’s one of the top B-schools in India.
It offers MBA in International Business Program as far as management aspirants in India are concerned.
10] MAH-CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test): –
It is the main entrance exam for a 2-year full-time post-graduate degree course in MBA/MMS & PGDM/PGDBM in government.
Exam conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra.
11] ATMA (AIMS Test for Management Admission): –
Conducted 4 times in a year.
ATMA score accepted by over 500 MBA institutes.
Conducted by AIMA.
12] TSICET (Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test): –
TSICET score is only validated only in the state of Telangana.
1st time held in May 2015.
13] IRMA (Institute of Rural Management Anand): –
Necessary to take admission to post-management diploma in rural management.
IRMA uses CAT/XAT score to shortlist candidates and then call them for the IRMA written test.
14] TISS-NET (Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test): –
Conducted by Tata institute of social science to get admission for all master’s programs in
TISS-Mumbai, Tuljapur, Hyderabad, Guwahati, IMHST Chennai, MHAT Calicut & G-CET Ranchi.
Also named as TISS-Mat.
15]KMAT (Karnataka Management Aptitude Test): –
KMAT helps to take admission in Karnataka states MBA colleges & B-schools.
Conducted by Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association, score is accepted by more than 169 colleges across the state.
16]TAN-CET (TamilnadCommon Entrance Test): –
It’s a written exam that gives you admission to MBA courses in the state of Tamilnadu.
Conducted by Anna university, Chennai.
17]HPU-MAT (Himachal Pradesh University Management Admission Test): –
HPU-MAT conducted for admission in Himachal Pradesh University Business School.
Score of this exam required for the second round of admission selection process.
18] OJEE-MBA (Odisha Joint Entrance Exam): –
Exam conducted by the government of Orissa, the score is used to take admission in many MBA courses in Orissa.
Also this test gives admission in many private & government medical, engineering & management institutes in Orissa.
19] API-CET (Andhra Pradesh- Integrated Common Entrance Test): –
Exam conducted by Sri Venkateswara university, Tirupati, for admission into various MBA colleges & B-schools in AP.
